  • award-winning ovally shaped folding arms with gas pistons on the 1500/1550 keep the cover particularly taught even only partially extended or twin steel link chains at the elbow joint on the Markilux 1600
  • during retraction larger debris is removed from the cover by the brush integrated into coverboard
  • larger awnings are fitted with a rolltex bearing to support the roller
  • the unique, dynamically curved coverboard makes the 1500 look like a cassette awning when closed
  • the coverboard displays no gaps or overhang as it constatly adapts its angle to that of the awning (patented)
  • the Markilux 1550 is available with integrated low-voltage halogen lighting for balmy evenings on the patio
  • both the 1500 and 1600 are available with a shadeplus for extra living space and privacy, the 1500 can accept a motorised version
